Abstract

This 14-month longitudinal study comprehensively analyzes antimicrobial coating durability across Singapore's distinct seasonal patterns, including both monsoon seasons and inter-monsoon periods. Testing was conducted on 200 surfaces across 50 diverse locations, with continuous environmental monitoring to correlate coating performance with climate conditions.

Results demonstrate consistent 97%+ antimicrobial efficacy regardless of humidity fluctuations between 65-95% RH, temperature variations from 24-35°C, and exposure to monsoon conditions.

Conclusion

Key Takeaways

  • 97%+ efficacy maintained across all Singapore seasonal periods
  • No significant correlation between climate conditions and coating performance
  • Minimal variation between indoor (98.2%) and outdoor (96.8%) environments
  • Annual reapplication schedule supported by 14-month durability data
